Old Bright Angel Trail - 2
Arizona
The opening view of this panorama looks down at Bright Angel Creek shortly after its junction with the stream issuing from Roaring Springs. The North Kaibab trail lies directly across the stream from where this panorama was taken but it blends into the hill side so well that it is difficult to see. However, more easily seen is a section of the water pipeline along the wall of the far stream bank. The pipe carries water from Roaring Springs to pump stations for a boost to supply water to the Grand Canyon South Rim facilities.
