Bones beach is one of the most famous Frame resort beaches of Buzios, on the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Its name comes from hunting activity to whales, held in the village from 1730 [1] and scattered bones of animals in the beach sands. It is, therefore, a historical beach used by anglers for centuries. In one of the corners of the beach, on a small hill, stands the Church of Sant'Anna, built from 1740. [3] Currently, the tree-lined seafront has several houses of retired fishermen.
