Palace of the Count, covered passage, Ourem
Portugal

The Count's palace, which was used as the official residence of Count D. Afonso.

The entrance turrets, built around 1450. At the time, a covered passage connected the Paço to a cylindrical tower, from which the base remains, and from there the connection to the castle was made. The Paço and the two turrets have traces of Venetian inspiration, with prominent protruding bricks.
