The village of Stamni is hilly village at the area of Epiksopi. Gorgeous and colorful, this settlement is located at an altitude of 290 m from the sea, and is 17 km from Heraklion. By the census of 2011 permanent residents totaled 160. The main production of the village is the oil, wine and raisins.
