Malia Old Village [Pedestrian alley]
Greece

Malia is a town and former community Pediada and is a municipal district in Hersonissos Municipality of Heraklion. It is famous for horticultural products, picturesque windmills, their famous sandy beach and abundant waters, of which watered Heraklion. Today it is a cosmopolitan city with excellent hotels and holiday homes decent centers, souvenir shops etc. Located on the 34th kilometer of the main road to Lasithi, whose border is at 38 kilometers further east. The main activities are the tourist sector, the cultivation of vegetables and bananas. In the East, a distance of 37 km, are the antiquities of Malia.
