Park of the Whim ( Madrid )

The Park of the Whim is a park and green zone located in the district of the Tree-lined avenue of Osuna, in the district of Barajas, to the northeast of the city of Madrid, (Spain). It was commanded to construct by the duchess of Osuna between 1787 and 1839. Account with a surface of 14 hectares. One of the most beautiful parks of the city is considered. Of its corners they emphasize the place of the Whim, the Palace, the pool, the place of the Emperors, or the source of the Dolphins and the Frogs. Which is attributed to him to references English, French, and Italian, of the time at which it was constructed, are reflected of the artistic influences of the designers of the park. It constitutes the unique garden of the existing Romanticism in Madrid.
