Pavia: University - Università
Pavia

Pavia is a relatively a small city, not far from Milan, famous for its University, one of the oldest of the western world.

An educational istitution was already documented in 9th century but the actual University was officially founded in 1361 by the Emperor of the Roman Empire Charles IV.
The 360 Photo presents the highly symmetric entrance court to the University, that is still today a center of culture with over 20.000 students in various faculties.
