Pearl of Riga
Riga

“Pērle” (Pearl) is somewhat a phenomenon of Riga. Called so after Puerto Rican slum La Perla, essentially it is a modern form of a culture house – shelter for like-minded that remains open all throughout the day for any good activity in mind.

Inspired by restless 80s, freaky, trendy, central – come here to try on vintage clothes or look through a rich spectrum of genuine retro goodies, sip your favourite lemonade, play table games, read books, work on computer, watch the world go by through a large showcase window, meet friends and strangers, dance the weekend nights away, even be a DJ… if you feel the appeal :)

More About Riga

Originated from a small fishermen village, for centuries Riga has been an important part of the trade chain between Russia and Western Europe. A lively crossroad of cultures and backgrounds for over 800 years, the historical centre of Riga has accumulated an impressive cultural baggage and today is justly included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
