Pioneer Park celebrates the earliest families that settled in area of what is now Mesa, Arizona. The monument statues are the first four pioneers who entered the mesa: Francis Martin Pomeroy, Charles Crismon, George M. Sirrine and Charles I. Robson who settled in 1878. The Park is located near to the historic downtown area of Mesa, and across the street to the north from the Mesa, Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
