Beach of Manaure
Manaure is a municipality in the Colombian department of La Guajira. It is bordered on the north by the Caribbean Sea, on the northwest by the municipality of Uribia, on the south by the municipality of Maicao and on the west by the municipality of Riohacha.
It is a plain flat and gently undulating stony, in the predominantly coastal dunes, marine lagoons, mudflats clay.
The sea is the raw material for the salt industry, the basis of the town's economy, which produces most of the salt consumed in Colombia. Other economic activities are fishing and tourism.
