Between the Demer and Diest in the waves of Hageland, the Province Subject Semi Monday The park derives its name from the LUNETTE, a part of the nineteenth century verdedigingsgordel around the city. The former guard has become a vibrant place to relax today and play sports, action and rest and past and present center.

The Province Domain Crescent is built on the ramparts of the military fortress belt (1837-1855) around the strategically located Diest. That verdedigingsgordel had any incursions of the Dutch from the north turn. The place where the domain is now, was a forward bastion surrounded by water. In military terms, that a 'LUNETTE and hence, the name "Crescent." The Crescent has grown into a very attractive recreation: you can swim, rowing, tennis, pedal boats, mini golf, trampoline, hiking and sunbathing at the beach!
