Rainbow Canyon is a scenic drive on Nevada state road 317 through a colorful canyon to the Ghost town of Elgin.  The road is paved for 21 miles and follows the railroad route from Caliente, Nevada towards Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rainbow canyon follows the Meadow valley wash.  The day we travelled the road, there were sections of the road that were under a few inches of water due to runoff.
