Remaining ruins of Riberhus in Ribe
Denmark
Riberhus was built as a royal castle in the 11th century in Ribe, on an 8 meter high castle bank surrounded by moats. Extensions and extensions occurred, the last time in the 16th century during Christian 3. The castle suffered severely during the Swedish Wars and was demolished in the latter half of the 17th century. The city bank, which was examined by the National Museum in 1940-1941, is still seen. Riberhus is included in the publications about Queen Dagmar. https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ri
