Rio Cumaceba during low water season. When the water rises, the wooden stairway will be completely below water level. Sometimes the waters even reaches the lodge in the background.
During a hot day, bathing in the river offers a really nice refreshment - if you are not afraid of pirañas, of course.
Rio Cumaceba enters into Rio Yarapa, which enters into Rio Ucayali, which finally drains into Rio Amazonas.
