"The Tyne.
She's all things to all men - the bonny hinny or a noble flood,
a twisty-faced old drab of a pay packet that's never quite enough.
Stuck in a traffic jam on the Tyne Bridge,
we never stop to think that she's at the bottom of it all.
Without her we'd be lost.
In fact we wouldn't be here at all."
