Rosalia de Castro Museum Gardens, Galicia, Spain
Rosalia de Castro was an outstanding poet & storyteller (1837-1885) who was born at Padron, few kilometers away from Santiago de Compostela, La Coruña, Galicia (Spain). The house were she was born has turned into a Museum that can be visited at Padron. The Rosalia de Castro house has a typical galician architecture. In Galicia, these houses are called "Pazos". This Galician town is famous for the huge production of the famous "Pimientos de Padron" (Padron Peppers) a green tiny pepper (never larger than two inches) with the peculiarity that some of them are very hot spicy. The percentage of hot spicy peppers is low, but for sure, if you order ten, one of them will be a very hot spicy one!!
