Royal Spirits Factory, Villa de Leyva, Boyaca, Colombia

This factory was built on XVII Century, while Colombia was a Spanish Colony. Above the main gate. There is a stone Royal Shield with the Spanish Crown, and symbols of the KIngdom of Castilla & Aragon. It was used as Council of the city and later, as a distillation factory where the very appreciated spirit called "Aguardiente". Nowadays it is used by citizens associations as a meeting place dedicated to cultural activities and exhibitions
