Sacré Cœur Church
A beautifully kept historic wooden church (1880) located in rural Acadian fishing village of Saulnierville in the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region known as Clare County. Église Sacré-Coeur is considered to be the oldest church in the Municipality of Clare and the heart of the parish which consists of six unique villages. Church features include unique stained glass windows, a magnificent gold-accented altar and handcrafted woodwork. Église Sacré-Coeur is famous for its annual Quilt Expo and splendid panoramic view of St. Mary’s Bay. Description taken from the Nova Scotia Tourism web site.
