Santa Maria de Melque
La iglesia de Santa María de Melque, construida en la primera mitad del siglo VIII, es el templo altomedieval mejor conservado de la Península Ibérica. Por sus características constructivas y estado de conservación, es un edificio único en el panorama de la arquitectura de estos años en Europa occidental. Su aparejo y su técnica constructiva son una clara herencia de la tradición arquitectónica tardorromana.
