Segovia - Alcazar of Segovia

The Alcazar of Segovia is first mentioned in 1120. It originally started as an Arab fort. As many others, this fort has been (partly) rebuild and changed throughthe centuries. It is located on the cliffs at the western end of the old town of Segovia and can be reached by a nice walk through the old town. Just follow the street from the Plaza Mayor along the cathedral.
