3 days into our photo trip we were very privileged to be able to photograph the Macraes Gold Mining Operation. You can't just rock up with a drone and start filming here, there is a lot going on and you need permission from the mine which we were very kindly provided. As long as we stayed away from active parts of the mine and avoided drones working on the site we were good to go.
This first pano is of the primary settling pond at the site.
The mine changes a lot and I scoped a lot of the mine out using Google Maps before we visited but on an active site like this features can change quite fast.
