Standing on a corniced ridgeline b/w Yellow Dog Peak & Snoozer Ridge in the Marble Mountain Wilderness west of Etna, California. After a grueling traverse from Pt. 7,122 to Yellow Dog Peak bypassing false summits & negotiating steep icy snow, I took a brief rest here as the sun's lighting let off some neat shadowing effects on the snow. Here one can look south to the Russian Peak Wilderness & Trinity Alps. Another five hours of trudging & postholing through snow before I'd get back to Etna Summit.
