Located above the Catalina island town of Avalon is the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden. The memorial was built in memory of William Wrigley Jr., 1861-1932. Built in 1933-1934 by Bennett, Parsons and Frost. The memorial contains stone work quarried from the island including the crushed stone and includes other building material made locally on the island.
