Stoke Green - Coventry
England

Stoke Green in Coventry is thought to date back to the 1600s and is surrounded by buildings some of which date back to the 17th century. Its name is derived from the Stoke family, the earliest mention being Robert de Stoke in 1279

The area was taken over by the City Council in 1928. At one time it boasted a working clock (now disused) and a small paddling pool which in its heyday was well used.
