The panorama was taken on a sunny spring day at Stumholmen, more precisely on Laboratorie Holmen (directly translated: Laboratory Islet) , right in the heart of the world heritage of Karlskrona. Stumholmen was an important part of the early naval city of Karlskrona, but is now also an area with lots of apartments really close to the water. To the east there are three ships from various eras. At the far end is the training ship HMS Jarramas (1900) in its winter dress, followed by the missile boat HMS Västervik (1974) and innermost the minesweeper HMS Bremön (1940). To the north, on the island Mjölnarholmen, is one of Karlskronas two old gun powder towers from the 1700s. To the north you can see the beautiful viewpoint Bryggareberget with water tower, lighthouse and the old German Brewery.
