Hiked along the bisse Heido in the Nanz Valley. The "bisses" or Suonen are traditional irrigation channels built several centuries ago to water the cultivated land with previous glacier water.
The Suone Heido was first mentioned in 1305. There is a wonderful trail following this water channel.
I took the Postauto to Visperterminen and the chairlift up to Giw.
Than I hiked into the Nanz Valley following the Suone Heido and out of the Nanz Valley and over the Bistine Pass down to the Simplon Pass.
Here I wait with other passengers on the Postauto which will bring us to Brig.
