Tanjung Priok Jakarta

The station at the port Tanjung Priok, was built in 1918. It had been unused and derelict since 2000 and homeless people were living on the platforms. Before its closure, the station ran trains to Surakarta and Semarang in Central Java and Surabaya in East Java. Restoration was started in the late Summer of 2009. This will connect the port to the stations at Kota and Kemayoran.
