Olympic Theatre - Sabbioneta

In the beautiful Sabbioneta, designed and built in the second half of 1500 by Prince Vespasiano Gonzaga, following the principles of humanistic renaissance ideal city, we find the Olympic Theatre or Theater in the style of the ancients, built between 1588 and 1590 by the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi from Vicenza, first building of the modern designed specifically for a theater.
