England

High above the sea, overlooking the old town and harbour is St Marys Church. In a quiet corner of the churchyard is the grave of Anne Bronte (Bronte sisters) who died in Scarborough in 1849 aged 29 years. Its early morning, there is a chill in the air, autumn is on its way.

September 2011, Update:

Because of the deteriorating condition of the headstone, the Bronte Society have commisioned a informative slate plaque which has now been placed on the grave.
