The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Lindisfarne
England

Saint Mary's Parish Church was originally built in the 7th century. It was extensively rebuilt during the 12th and 13th centuries and features an 18th century bellcote.

It is thought to stand on the site of the original monastery founded by Aidan, so precedes the adjacent Lindisfarne Priory by several hundred years.
