The Parish Church of St Nicholas, Abbotsbury
England

The Parish Church of St Nicholas in Abbotsbury is located close to the site of a medieval Benedictine abbey, of which very little remains. The church was originally built in the late 14th century but was largely remodelled during the 15th century, when the west tower was added.

The church was the site of resistance during the English Civil War. The Jacobean pulpit still has two bullet holes from a Parliamentian siege.
