The ruins of St. Declan's Oratory, Ardmore
Ireland

This small oratory, dating from the 8th century, is believed to have been built over the burial site of St Declan. It is located on a hill above the village of Ardmore in County Waterford where he founded a monastery in the 5th century. The site also has a well-preserved 12th century Round Tower and a 13th century cathedral.
