The bridge called Hudičev most and the road to the villages of Čadrg and Zadlaz-Čadrg was built by the local people during the construction of the Bohinj railway at the beggining of the previous century. Before that, the villages had only been connected by a narrow path across the bottom of the river valley. The first bridge was made of wood. Later, durring the Italian occupation, when it was needed by the army, it was replaced by steel construction. It was at that time that it was named Hudičev most (Devil's bridge)m which is quite common name in Slovenia for bridges leading over dangerous narrow hollows.
