The Trinity Chapel in Tamatten, specifically in "Hornlauenen", is an important chapel in the parish of Saas-Grund. The name comes from the fact that an avalanche would always thunder into the valley at this point, but this has not happened in recent decades. The chapel was built in 1735 by Johann Peter Anthamatten on the site of an older chapel. The exterior of the chapel is dominated by a porch that rests on two tuff columns with Ionic capitals. The main portal consists of a tuff door frame, as do the windows on both sides of the entrance. The main altar, which dominates the interior of the chapel, dates from 1682, as indicated by a date on the main altar. The altar is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The chapel underwent extensive total renovation between 1976 and 1981 and now once again invites the faithful to prayer and reflection in the cheerful and atmospheric room.

A Capela da Trindade em Tamatten, especificamente no "Hornlauenen", é uma importante capela da freguesia de Saas-Grund.
