The University of Pretoria has several campuses spread across the greater Tshwane area. The University’s sprawling sport facilities are located on the Sport Campus, also known as LC de Villiers. The grounds are home to TuksSport, the body that organises and manages all the University of Pretoria’s sport development, teams, training and performance, as well as the UP’s High Performance Centre, HPC, a word-class elite performance sports facility. The Institute for Sport Research also calls the campus home. The grounds border the men’s residences on the south-eastern side of the lake. The Rautenbach Hall, the biggest single events venue at the University of Pretoria, can also be found on the Sport Campus. Not only is the campus home to a top class rugby, athletics and soccer stadiums, tennis courts, hockey fields, swimming pool and other tracks and fields, but it also has support facilities such as gyms, class rooms and research laboratories.
