The old road to Uttakleiv on the Vestvågøy island on the Lofoten. Built in 1930s, the road was the first road to Uttakleiv which was actually passable for vehicles. Before the road was built, a steep path connected the Uttakleiv village to the rest of the world; this patch was only suitable for wayfarers and riders. In the 1990s, a 1 km long tunnel has been built, and the old road is closed for motorized traffic and acts as hiking path.
