VAGHAMON TEA ESTATE
India
Vagamon is a hill station located in Kottayam-Idukki border of Idukki district in Kerala, at an elevation of 3100 feet above MSL, known as “SCOTLAND OF ASIA”, was discovered by the Britishers who found the place ideal for tea plantations and they were followed by Christian missionaries who built their abode of service at Kurisumala in Vagamon. Cool mountain air, lush green meadows and tea estates. A chain of three hills-Thangal para, Murugan hills and Kurusumala represent three major religions marks their harmony.
