Vasco da Gama Bridge
Lisbon
The Vasco of Gama Bridge is located near the Park of Nations, linking Lisbon to the south bank of the Tagus River and was built as alternatives to the Bridge April 25. The Vasco of Gama Bridge is the longest bridge in Europe with 17km, 10 of which over the river and was considered one of the largest and most successful project of the twentieth century of civil engineering and was awarded the 1st prize by the prestigious institution Ibero-American Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2000.
