Where it is:
If you travel by car , put in navigation:
Country : Czech Republic
City: Tabor
Address : Riverside Lužnice
If you go down the street Bechyňská down to the river and the bridge turn right . You will now weave between the houses and watch out for cyclists. On the left hand Lužnice river , on the right , after a moment emerges from the trees and rock that's her. 50m for the rock is a small parking for 3 cars. Here is the perfect stop .
How long , challenging and description:
Tabor's Ferry is one of the few shortest Ferrat , I know. It's quite simple training path that is here only to try to climb. You're not her reach . After the climb up is another way farther than meet back down. I had classified her somewhere at the end of B. For experienced difficulty ferratisty it will be a breeze for a few minutes , beginners may be slightly surprised and may take a while before you find the right outputs on your feet .
The path consists of two parts. The first is quite steep rozvrásněná wall, which can startle a complete beginner a bit , because there is not clear where to put my feet , even though there's plenty of outputs . Unlike Zadrátované nuns who from the beginning climbers consistently leads , here 's Rock offers more freedom. Then there is such salaries to rozhlédnutí and possibly to escape the path down. The second part begins with a miniature traverse easily accessible cramps and then there is really such a small rock, where the rope is kept very cleverly so that you had to help chytnutím behind a rock . Even the risk of slamming a rock in the head! Then catch-up on such a small tacks and you're almost at the top. From the top of a short steel ladder leads down the path you down so for one to two minutes . So you can climb again and again and again. :)
Remarks :
- It is tested that it can climb without a catch and pull to the rope . It takes but experienced climbers.
- Steel cable has uncharacteristically , about 2x thicker than the diameter ropes for example in the Alps.
- The spring of 2012 was the emergence of the ferrata measure tape "No " . A sad example of this necessary alibism to the room of paperwork and prohibitions greedy authorities.
