Viana do Castelo, Church of Nossa Senhora da Agonia
Portugal

An eighteenth-century temple, surrounded by picturesque churchyard, with a three-staircase staircase and, at the rear, a bell tower (19th century). Dominates the field of Agony. Its roco-style, exterior and interior. It was consecrated in 1756, and consecrated to the Passion of Christ. It came to replace another chapel from 1674 ordered to be built by the Rev. João Jacome do Lago, under the invocation of Bom Jesus do Santo Sepuclro do Calvário. It dominates the field of the traditional and popular Pilgrimage of Nª Senhora da Agonia.
