Walters Wiggles switchbacks on the West Rim trail
Zion National Park
The most amazing stretch of the West Rim Trail is this flight of 21 short steep switchbacks. It is named Walter's Wiggles for the park superintendent who had the trail built in 1926. The switchbacks top out abruptly at the flat ledge known as Scout Lookout.
