Gigapixel view from the summit of Wheeler Peak (elev. 13,063') in Great Basin National Park, Nevada.  The second highest peak in the state after Boundary Peak, it is the high point of the Snake Range & overlooks a good portion of the Great Basin into Utah.  Views of nearby Bald Mountain & Buck Mountain to the north & Baker Peak & Pyramid Peak to the south.  Being an isolated summit, it is prone to lightning strikes, as some of the summit rocks have worm holes (fulgurite) formations.
