This relatively dark panorama was shot exactly at the moment of the 2007 summer solstice. Apart from that it also demonstrates a situation years ago when the littoral zone of the river Isar wasn´t efforts to re-naturalise the river yet. A peek right down below the railing shows several huge blocks of stone dropped here to display those type of stones planned for a number of (recreational) steps alongside the river bank. Only a few years later these river banks already were a common place to meet and take a plunge on a hot summer day.
