Wonderwerk Cave near Kuruman
Kuruman

Wonderwerk Cave is situated south of Kuruman on the Danielskuil Road.

This rich archeological site is home to many historic artefacts, that are being meticulously excavated. The mouth of the cave is home to a collection of rock art in various colours, and depicts many animals that used to live in the area.

Small mining town in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, Kuruman is well known for the Oog van Kuruman, or Eye of Kuruman in English. This natural water spring supplies the town with all the water it needs, although being located in a very dry area.
