Unique five trees growing from one point in a peaceful forest in Romania.
These trees and hills once was nearly on the Eastern most end of the primary line of German/Romanian defenses against the 2nd Ukrainians of the Soviet Union. After this Iassi-Chisinev (Iasi-Chisinau in Romanian), the Romanians switched sides to the Allies.
Now, families, couples, and singles walk peacefully through the forest often oblivious of both the history of this forest and the foxholes, trenches, and 'V' shaped defensive positions.
