Historical and сultural сomplex "Zaporizhzhya Sich "on the island Khortitsa is a reconstruction of an old сossack fortress XVI-XVIII centuries.
Reduced copy of fortress surrounded by a moat, rampart and palisade with several towers. In the center there is a church, surrounded by housekeeping building and outbuildings, as well as residential buildings (kureni).
Reconstruction began in 2005, in 2009 the complex was officially open.
