Zero Mile Stone and National Christmas Tree
Washington, DC

The Zero Milestone is located on the south side of the White House and many distances were to use this as their starting measurement.  Also in this picture the National Christmas Trees, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and the White House.  On February 19, 2011 the National Christmas was destroyed by high winds.  The tree was replaced on March 19, 2011.  The new tree is small in comparison to the 48 foot tree it replaces.
