Gigapixel summit view atop Sonora Peak (elev. 11,459') directly to the north of Sonora Pass, California.  This area of the Sierra Nevada is primarily volcanic w/ granite peaks to the north & south.  One can see some jagged peaks such as Mt. Conness, Matterhorn Peak, & distant Mount Ritter area to the south, the Sweetwater Mountains to the east, & north towards the Crystal Range.  It was super windy up here, which also helped clear a lot of the haze.
