Bruny Island Neck Lookout

Bruny Island Neck is a narrow isthmus that joins North Bruny and South Bruny just off the southeast coast of Tasmania. In the middle of this thin strip of hills and beaches is the Bruny Island Neck Game Reserve which features a series of stairs and wooden observation platforms where people can observe the short-tailed shearwaters and the fairy penguins common to this area.

At this platform you can go down to the beach boardwalks to observe the penguins, or down to the car park  -or you can go up to the observation platform at the top of the hill.
