The National Trust for Scotland's Mar Lodge Estate in the Cairngorms National Park is renowned for it's regenerated Caledonian woodland, rare wildlife and beautiful scenery.

The ancient pinewoods are home to red squirrels and pine martens as well as birds such as the crossbill and black grouse.
